First, let me just say I am so thankful for your support and that you’ve stuck with me throughout the ups and downs of 2020! This year has been a wild ride for us all, to say the least, and the ways in which we navigate this beautiful life continue to evolve.

Over the past several months, I’ve come to a tipping point. I’ve been so blessed this year to experience tremendous growth with my extensions business behind the chair, to find new success in developing and growing an educational platform for aspiring extensions artists, and to be one of only a handful of artists asked to join a team of elite hair stylist business-building coaches and mentors - all of which have been career goals of mine. I’m also feeling the growing pains of motherhood as my little girl starts kindergarten and I’m spending less and less time with her, both because she is growing up and because of the growth of my business.

You and I have been together as stylist and client for a while now, I have looked forward to and enjoyed every single visit with you, and I honestly love you like a family member. I have, however, decided that in order to continue to travel down my chosen career path and still maintain a sense of balance with my family and take care of my own mental and physical health, unfortunately, I need to make a shift and remove some things from my overflowing plate. As of September 1, I will be cancelling all non-extensions appointments on my schedule so that I can focus on my specialty as an extensions artist, educator, and mentor.

If you would like to discuss re-installing your hand-tied hair extensions, or would like to consider them for the first time, I am happy to adjust your next appointment to include extensions, pending availability on my schedule. Please let me know if this is something you are considering, as I am limited in how many clients I am able to serve and nearing my max capacity!

If you know extensions are not in your near future, but would like to remain a client of Heyday Collective, I would absolutely love to continue to see your smiling face while serving your needs through another artist. You already know and love Megan Cox, who has expanded her service offerings beyond Bridal to include Heyday HaloCouture consultations and fittings. KellyJo Burrows is our newest independent hair artist - she has been a colorist for 10 years and specializes in multidimensional color and balayage. I have added team members to the salon slowly and intentionally, and am happy to say that KellyJo is not only a perfect fit for us talent-wise, but also personality-wise! I would love to introduce you to her. You can book color + cut appointments online with KellyJo by clicking here.

If you have any questions or need to communicate anything with me at all, please do not hesitate to email me. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your sincere understanding, I truly treasure our friendship, and I look forward to staying in touch throughout the coming years.
